The designer app: clients, presentations, shops

Add clients, design their kitchens, send each one a presentation link, and send a finished kitchen to a cabinet shop in Space to price and build.

The designer app is at designer.stillespace.com. The menu has Studio, Clients, Kitchens, Sent to shops, Team, Files and Account & billing.

Start your studio

  1. Sign in with your email (no password).
  2. Under Start your design studio, type the Studio name and press Create studio.
  3. On the Studio page, fill in Your details on presentations and drawings.

How it works

  1. Add a client under Clients: name, email, phone and the address of the job. Notes are only seen by your studio. Press New kitchen on a client to start their kitchen; it's filed under them.
  2. Design it in 3D: walls, cabinets, finishes, appliances, and photo-real pictures.
  3. Present it: in Kitchens, press Present. Space opens the presentation and copies its link to send your client. It shows your details, "Prepared for" your client, the finish board, the appliances, the pictures and a link to the kitchen in 3D. There are no prices on it.
  4. Send it to a shop: in Kitchens, press Send to a shop, pick a shop (each shows its town and one line about its work), add a note (timing, finish, install) and press Send. The shop gets its own copy of the kitchen as it is now, with your studio's and your client's details.
  5. Follow it under Sent to shops: each kitchen shows With the shop, Estimate in or Estimate accepted. Messages and estimate opens the shop's messages so you can write back.

Changes you make after sending stay with you. Send the kitchen again to share them. The Client menu on each kitchen in Kitchens files it under a client.

No shops in the list?

During the beta, shops list themselves on their Shop page (Work from designers). If none are listed yet, the send form says so.

For shops: taking work from designers

On your Shop page, under Work from designers, tick List [your shop] for interior designers in Space, add your Town and One line about your work, and press Save. Designers see only those. A kitchen they send arrives in Kitchens with the designer's and the client's details. Only the shop's owner or an admin can change the listing.
