Sharing a kitchen with a homeowner or designer

Invite the homeowner and designer to one kitchen from the Kitchens page, see who joined, remove people, or copy a view-only link.

You need to be signed in and online. Sharing is free for the people you invite. They don't use a seat.

Invite someone

  1. Open Kitchens and press Share on the kitchen.
  2. Type their Email, and their name if you like.
  3. Choose Homeowner or Designer.
  4. Press Send invite.

Space emails them an invite with an Open the kitchen button. (People who already have a Space account get a sign-in email that opens the kitchen.) Press Send invite again with the same email to resend it.

What they can do

They can't change the kitchen, see your other kitchens or your settings. Tell your client to sign in with the exact email you invited.

Who's on it

The Share panel lists everyone you invited, with Homeowner or Designer and Invited (hasn't opened it yet) or Joined. Press Remove to take someone off.

A kitchen can be shared with up to 20 people.

View-only link

Press Copy a view-only link. Anyone with the link can look at the kitchen in 3D, with no sign-in. They can't change it or write messages. If your browser won't copy, the link appears in a box for you to copy.

Only send it to people who should see the kitchen. There's no button yet to switch a link off once it's sent.

Messages from clients

Read and answer them in the studio: Jobs → Open the kitchen → Messages. Space doesn't email you when a client writes.

Your responsibility

Invite only people who expect to hear from you about their kitchen, and remove guests who shouldn't have access any more (terms, section 3).

Still stuck? In the Space app, press Ask Space, or email hello@stillespace.com.
