Choosing paint, wood, counters, floors and hardware
Use Finishes mode to change every surface, find any paint by its code, and save up to four looks to compare.
Press Finishes at the top of the studio. You can pick from the shelf at the bottom, or click something in the room (the floor, a wall, a window, a counter or the backsplash) to change just that.
What's on the Finishes shelf
- Cabinet line, Door style and Toe kick.
- Cabinet paint colours.
- Any paint, by code or name: type a code or name, like HC-172, Hague Blue or SW 7008. It covers Benjamin Moore, Farrow & Ball, Sherwin-Williams, Behr, PPG and Valspar, or type a hex colour like #3D4E57.
- Cabinet wood. For white oak you can also pick an Osmo or Rubio Monocoat finish.
- Hardware (11 metal shapes and wood ones) and a separate Hardware finish (13 finishes).
- Floor, Counter, Backsplash and Walls. Under Walls, Wall panelling (shiplap, beadboard, V-groove or board and batten, to chair height or full height) and a Chair rail at 32", 36" or 42".
To change the faucet, click it in the room: 22 faucets in 13 finishes, with a side spray, soap dispenser, filtered-water tap or instant hot-water tap as extras.
Changes show straight away in 3D.
Compare looks
At the top of the shelf, Looks to compare lets you keep up to four finish schemes on the same layout.
- Set up a look you like and press Save this look.
- Change the finishes and press Save this look too.
- Tap a letter (A, B, C, D) to flip between them. Tap × to remove one.
Window and surface details
Click a window to pick its maker, line, type, grilles and colours. Click a counter, floor or backsplash to pick a material, pattern, colour and size. For the backsplash, pull the brass arrow up or down to set its height.
Tip
Colours on screen are close, not exact. Check real samples before you order paint, stone or wood.
