Photo-real pictures, In your photo and In your room
Photo-real renders the view on our server with real light; In your photo draws the kitchen into a photo of the room; In your room shows it full size on a phone or tablet.
These three buttons are at the bottom of the List panel, next to Save a picture.
Photo-real
Photo-real sends the view on screen to our render server, which draws it the way a camera would see it: real light bouncing round the room, soft shadows, stone that shines. It takes a few minutes, and you can keep working; the picture turns up in the same panel, with Save to download it.
- You need to be signed in, with the kitchen saved online.
- Set the room and the view first, then press Make a picture of this view. Pick 2400 × 1800 or 3600 × 2700.
- Shops have 50 photo-real pictures a month for the whole shop, on any kitchens. They don't carry over to the next month. When they're used, the panel offers Buy 50 more pictures, $10, for the rest of that month.
- Homeowners get four with each $149 plan set, and can buy 50 more for $10.
In your photo
In your photo draws the kitchen into a photo of the real room.
- Take a photo from across the room, a little to one side, so one whole wall shows with its corners at the floor and the ceiling. Or use a photo you started the kitchen with.
- Put the four dots on that wall's corners. Guess the corners finds them for you; check where it put them.
- Press Draw the kitchen, then Save the picture.
The photos stay with the kitchen on the device you used (up to 12 a kitchen). The project file doesn't carry them. Remove takes one away.
In your room
Open the kitchen on a phone or tablet and press In your room. On an iPhone or iPad the kitchen opens full size in Apple's AR viewer; on Android (Chrome), tap the floor where it goes, then Move or Turn it. On a computer, Save the AR file (.usdz) to send to a phone.
