Start from a cabinet maker's drawings
Add a PDF or pictures of elevations and a plan; Space reads the printed sizes, you check them, and it builds the kitchen at the drawn sizes.
If the kitchen is already drawn (elevations and a floor plan), Space can build it from the drawings.
- Press Room → From photos, then Add your drawings.
- Add a PDF or pictures of the pages, up to 6. Add more pages adds another.
- Mark each page: Wall A to Wall D, Floor plan, the island or peninsula, or not used.
- Type the room's inside size, to the 1/8".
- Space reads the sizes on each page. It takes about 20 seconds.
- Check what it read. Each wall's pieces, the doors and windows and the island are shown in inches beside the page. Fix anything before it builds.
- Space builds the kitchen at the drawn sizes: exact widths, doorways where they are, corners as drawn, uppers to the ceiling where drawn. Then "Check the sizes: tap any cabinet to change it."
Reading drawings needs you to be signed in and online.
If the drawings disagree
Elevations and plans sometimes don't add up to the same length. Space holds doorways where they're drawn and the open floor takes up the difference; the note says so. Fix the sizes at the check step if you know which drawing is right.
